While prior experience in environmental commodities is a plus, it is not required; we are looking for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our shared mission. As a Junior Sales Trader, you will be an integral part of our team in the Nordics, helping to build and maintain relationships with key clients (utilities, corporates, industrials, project developers, and more) and execute trades that meet both client and company objectives. You will work closely with senior team members and receive the support you need to develop as a trader in the environmental commodities space.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Building and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients, including utilities, project developers, and corporates.
• Assisting in the structuring and closing of transactions related to energy efficiency certificates, and other environmental commodities.
• Conducting market research to identify opportunities and support the team’s strategic growth efforts.
• Contributing to the development of new deal structures that align with both client needs and Caely’s objectives.
• Communicating regularly with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the business to achieve team goals and ensure client satisfaction.

To be considered for the Junior Sales Trader role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Fluency in Swedish (native speaker) and English is a must; additional Nordic language skills (Norwegian, Danish, Finnish) are a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in commodities trading, business development, or a related field. Previous experience in environmental commodities is a plus but not required.
• A strong interest in environmental sustainability and climate change.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, and eager to learn and grow in the financial markets.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with clients and colleagues effectively.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel; additional data analysis skills are a plus.
• Able to work well within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Must be based in Stockholm, Sweden, or willing to relocate.
