Senior Financial Controller

The role of a financial controller is crucial in ensuring the financial health and integrity of an organization. Key responsibilities typically include:

• Implement month end closing reconciliations and procedures concerning the group’s legal entities in multiple countries.
• Consolidate and prepare  financial statements ensuring they comply with accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare accounting position papers for an upcoming transition to IFRS
• Developing and managing budgets, as well as forecasting future financial performance based on analysis of past trends and current data. Implementing and monitoring internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Conducting thorough analysis of financial data, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability, cost efficiency, and overall financial performance.
• Coordinating audits and ensuring compliance with tax regulations, financial laws, and reporting requirements.

In order to be considered for the role, you must meet the following:

•  At least 5 years of accounting and/or audit experience) and familiar with IFRS
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field. Professional certification, such as CPA or CA would be a plus
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and experience in financial analysis is essential.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Available to work on-site 40 hours per week.
•  Confident and motivated self-starter with a serving attitude.
•  Accurate, precise with excellent communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills are considered a plus.
• Fluent in English, spoken and written. Any other language is a plus.
